Good light Bryan! I’m envious at how well you can pick out a scene from the busy mess mother nature hands us.

Thanks Gary. It was difficult on this trail. The park is very dry in the winter which I didn't know, and they apparently did some clean-up making much of the area a tilled-up mess. The light filtering through the canopy onto these palmettos immediately caught my eye, and then after looking for a moment found the viewpoint where the fanned-out palmettos and background dark trees echoed each other and there was my photograph.

The Cullin, Skye, Scotland

We were very lucky to spend a week on Skye back in October last year. Lucky because it's a beautiful place to visit and lucky just to get away from the day to day grind. This day was amazing - got pelted with large hailstones and amazingly stormy light. The Cullin is the mountain ranges in the distance and the photo was taken from a walk to Camasunary Bay.

Nice shot Jerry, colors, tilts. Good scanning and processing. I guess colour perfect helps get them right.
