Just found this 1963 Deardorff Catalog price list https://www.pacificrimcamera.com/rl/00299/00299.pdf

My camera came with a 4" Packard (ID) and stand-off adapter. It works beautifully for 19" or 24" copy camera lenses , but 4" isn't big enough for a few of my portrait lenses. Also, like Ernie's camera, mine has the serial number (153) stamped into the lensboard sliding lock.
A few details of my Packard Shutter, 7 1/2 in. square shutter, with a 4 in. hole, It's mounted on the film side of the shutter box, the shutter box will attach to the 8 in. RC lens board holder on the front of the camera. The front of the shutter box will also take an 8 in. RC lens board.
Is the white object in the corner nestled with shutter sync wire a switch?
Maybe for test firing any light?

A toggle switch wired between the shutter and the terminal on the outside of the box. I haven't used the Packard shutter.
