William, I'll take a look. Previously, I seem to recall, prices were a bit much for my shoestring budget.

Chinese online shops like Banggood and Fasttech have bunches of different sized pouches for cheap. You do have to wait a long time for shipping.
I got a Karan belt pouch for my Pentax Digital Spot Meter for about $30US. See what they have for your analog meter.
Nothing beats a great piece of glass!
I leave the digital work for the urologists and proctologists.
I use a backpack for my camera gear that has an extra few inches of space at the top... That's where it goes.
I got this

Call FilmTools and ask them if they have something for you.

climbing chalk bags are made in heaven for photographers. they've been my go to for years for putting exposed film. very room so easy to place a meter in there, cld attach the meter cord to the bag as well for extra security.
notch codes ? I only use one film...
I use a Tamrac model number 600R for my Pentax V spot-meter. It fits in upside down so I can grab the handle directly. The loops on the back are 4 inches or so wide so it moves some on your belt. There is a velcro and plastic snap to keep it in the belt-bag. the padding is limited to some foam sewn into the case.
I do not recall paying retail for a pouch or camera bag in the last 20-30 years. used to be that pawn shops just threw empty bags on the floor behind the counter and let them go for a few dollars to clear the space. Try the online auction sites using search terms like "pouch, pre owned" . You might even find a used dedicated holster that you are willing to buy.
You might weven be able to pick up a full-on camera bag that will take all your gear as a pre owned item.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
Was rummaging through some boxes in the garage and found this "hip pouch" from Harrah's Hotel at L. Tahoe....something they were giving away as part of marketing. Because of the job, I got several and gave it to friends....tho I'm keeping this one. Just an idea.
