That is a fine photograph! I very much enjoy the soft lighting and the rendering of the subtle tones. Is there a particular reason why you chose to depict two pears, rather than just one or three?

I intended to try a still life today. Last night I stopped and got a few gorgeous artichoke, unblemished. Got home and my wife and daughter were eating them. Cherish your beets dude.
