I'm pretty excited to announce that Blue Moon Camera and Machine of Portland, OR, has begun selling J. Lane Dry Plates. So if you live in the Portland area, stop by their store and tell them how awesome that is!
They currently offer plates in 4x5 and 8x10. They will also be happy to develop the plates for you.

In other news, I've been working to eliminate flaws in the coating process. For those of you familiar with transitioning a product to production, inevitably "gremlins" show up that need to be addressed when you change from making small numbers of a product to production quantities. My plates are no exception, but I'm more stubborn than the gremlins.
The side benefit for me (and ultimately for people who buy the plates) is that I've learned far more about making emulsions and plates than I would have if everything worked perfectly. This will have direct benefit going forward as I do things such as create faster emulsions or look at orthochromatic / panchromatic plates.

Great work, Jason!

Cool and good for you!
I will want 11X14 in a month or so. My holder needs a bit of repair. It also has 10X12 inserts, but I see no reason to use them.
