Mt. Morrison from Convict Lake - California, 2017.

Initially I wasn't going to take this but then I noticed the perfect reflection of Mt. Morrison in the glass like lake water. So i decided to give it a go and while I was setting up the camera the 2 fishing boats that were in the foreground motored off beyond sight at the far end of the lake but a breeze developed and disturbed the reflection in the water. For an interesting history on the origin of the name "Convict Lake," see http://www.tahoedailytribune.com/new...orful-history/

Thanks ericantonio and Thomas. If you live even *kinda* close, it's worth the trip.

Yeah, Orange Co. I know people who live there and say they need to pretty much leave most of the summer and stay at friend's homes. It's sooooo crowded!! My ex said she had to reserver like 6 months ahead for a tent site.

Bryan, this is my favorite of all of your recent water images. The color brings it to life and makes a bigger impact for me.
