A number of years ago, a group of coworkers and I had a weekend outing at one of their cottages. We played golf, cards, had great food, and really enjoyed each others' company. On Sunday morning, we got an early start, since some of the guys wanted to go fishing. The back deck faced one of the lakes at Sugar Springs. I set up an RB67, catching dawn and a couple of fellows heading to the boats. This was done on Kodacolor Gold 100.

Even though I made specific recommendations to the printer, I was never really happy with the picture. Earlier this year, I scanned the negative with an Epson V850, and edited on Adobe Elements 15. The film actually had a lot of latitude, so there wasn't a lot to do with it.

    Best,
    Dennis

Nice Dennis, my dad used to have a place in Sugar Springs on one of the golf holes. Nice vibe there.

Thanks. Yes, catch the event if you can. It's worth it. Play some Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon during the event too. Someone was blasting that out their car next to me and it's amazing how well it goes with the eclipse.

I personally would recommend atom heart mother and 'heart of the sun' - it was stuck in my head all day and I loved it.
    Silence is also nice. =)

'Set the controls for the heart of the sun' was on A Saucerful of Secrets, not Atom Heart Mother. But I expect you were just testing us, right?

When I see the term "capture" it brings to mind a frame capture from a video or still from cine film. That is not how I approach photography and while I take no offense as I have seen on this forum I'd like to see us all use terms like: compostion, interpretation, rendition, photo etc. I do appreciate that you meant this as a compliment and I do thank you.
