Not quite what I wanted in the water swirls, but my ND filter was a bit too strong. I don't usually carry more than one but perhaps I should bring a 3-stop as well as my 6-stop.
Chamonix 45n1, Nikkor 90mm f/8 + 6-stop ND + 1-stop of "dodging" in the top half of the image, T-Max 100, FX-39:

A sense of mystery from the swirl near the centre, almost like a will o'the wisp.

Thanks guys, perhaps I was too worried about the definition in the swirl. I did do some local contrast adjustments in Photoshop for this so not sure I could print it in the darkroom with my current skills, but I will try (split-grade printing the water might be what I need to do). It's on my list to print, my darkroom build is taking a bit longer than expected but should be doing final work next week....
