Very nice! You captured the lighting just right. That must have taken a while.

Not my best, just one of the color slides from a recent hike.

Shot with a Zone VI 4x5 and Ekta 203mm f7.7 lens. I used some pretty old Velvia 100 and developed it in nearly a year old batch of E-6 rapid developer.

Woke up at 5:30 this morning to go shoot some Provia 100F at sunrise. The forecast was partly cloudy. To my surprise, they were way off and there was some crazy intense fog. So, I drove around awhile until I found a cool area to set up and shoot.

It took an hour or so for the fog to move just right to take the exposure I wanted. It was the first time I felt like I really "waited" and made the photo I envisioned.

I use colour as well as B&W film so a different view of Tryfan, Snowdonia, north Wales around 30 minutes earlier from a little pool adjacent to the lake where I camped. This was taken early morning mid-September and some of the grasses by the pool, which was in the shade, were starting to turn red in time for autumn. I don't have an obsession with Tryfan, but the four times I have wild-camped, I have always ended up with an image of this mountain!

Chamonix 045N-2, Caltar 90mm f6.8, F16 ann 1/3, 1/2s, Fuji Velvia 50, 3 stop hard ND grad filter.
