Here's one from last monday. Velvet light time. Yes that's me next to the Ford. A friend pushed the plunger for me. Lens was an 8 1/4 Velo that I modified to work like the bigger ones with the fuzz-u-lator.

Every year I attend the Annual Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield, CA to enjoy the sights and sounds of vintage cars, racing and speed. I am slowly getting caught up with processing these images. Here are two that were shot on the 1910 Auto Graflex SLR.

I don't shoot everything 4x5 for these events so if you want to see previous years photographs visit: http://www.scottphoto.co/wheels-steel/
Nice work Scott. Nice treatment on the final output. This is a look I'd love to be able to achieve, especially the last one.
These are fantastic Scott. Really like the 2nd one.
Well, it's not a car, truck, or motorcycle, but I guess it's close...
Tiradentes, Brazil:

Neil,
Linda Maria Fumaça!
Ouro Preto, Tiradentes... I miss that,
Cheers,

Just an old truck I found in the woods.
Thanks, Renato.
My wife is a Carioca - we spent a couple of months wandering around Rio, Parati, Ouro Preto, and Salvador in 1996. I took a lot of large format pictures but my hotel development was often less than successful (in extreme cases the emulsion fell off!), and the adapters I made to use film in holders made for glass weren't all focussed/ positioned correctly. Aye well, tudo bem!
