Thanks Ben. Any order is fine, as long as it is not in reverse order. :-)
I know this is off topic but I'm backing the Bruvelo on Kickstarter. The Bruvelo is a one cup automated coffee maker that grinds the beans, tells you when you've put in enough water, and allows you to control the temperature for brewing a single cup.
The guy's video is terrific. He's a former Microsoft engineer who is obsessed with producing an excellent cup of coffee.
He explains how he pulled the plug on his first Kickstarter campaign because the contractors came in at 10x their original numbers. Well, the 10x statement is in the comments.
He's refined the product significantly and is aiming for $900k to make it happen. There are lessons to be learned in there. We'll see if he hits his goal. I'm in for two machines, one for home and one for the office.
That's interesting. As I recall the KS was supposed to go live at noon on whatever day it was. I logged in 5 minutes early, found it already up and running, and completed the signup process in two or three minutes, definitely before the theoretical start time. And I "only" ended up #3! Do you have any visibility as to how many people signed up before the official start time?
I'm certainly looking forward to receiving my Travelwide. The lens and rangefinder are ready and waiting, and you've already flocked the inside, which was something I'd been planning to do.
Ben, are the Travelwides going to have serial #'s?

Re: S/N numbering in the future.
Engrave a set of little plastic plaques ahead of time. As cameras are assembled and packed for shipping, glue on the next label in the series. The camera body could have a slight recess to receive the numbered plate. It would only add an additional 2-3 min to the assembly process.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!
