This is awesome. I guess that means the holder fits under the spring. That's cool cuz I have a ton of Polaroid 667 hanging around the house. I love that stuff. You're instruction pdf is excellent and I agree that a little rudimentary detail can't hurt because I'm sure that your kickstarter crowd exceeds the denizens of this place. Hopefully people with patience and grace as well.

    Seems like only a very few are still commenting on this thread. The same is true in the main comments section their KS site. The rest of the backers appear to be;
    Bored
Have moved on. (Might mean their TW 90's will start to appear on e-bay later.)
Have a lot more patience than me. (Includes just about all of them.)
Have real lives and no time to obsess over such trivial matters.
Or.....for the fortunate few, have already picked up their cameras and are now too busy making pictures and having fun.

Ok, I'd planned to go purchase the plywood for a new project today so I'd better get busy.

I'm most like 4). I would rather have it late-even really late-but when it was done right. I'll be happy to have it. I always had full confidence that they would come thru eventually (I have friends who know them in Chicago). But for me it is just a cool toy that may or may not find a place in my starting line up of cameras. Hence whenever it showed up (as long as they had worked the bugs out) was fine by me.
    Thanks,

I'm here, reading the thread, but I have no time in my life for idle whining that it's not here yet. It'll get here when it gets here, and for the time being, I have way too many cameras as it is. That said, I can certainly see myself using it in a lot of new situations, where size and convenience is paramount. Just this morning I was shooting some photos at a symphony orchestra concert and I would've loved to have the TW and one DDS holder loaded with some HP5 or Tri-X.

I can understand the frustration if one was just getting into LF with the TW.

    This.

    I'm really:

    5. Have plenty of other cameras to use and things to do, will be glad to add this one when I get it but not in any real hurry.

    "...idle whining..."?
How about 'purposeful whining'? Although I cannot identify to what purpose my whining is exactly. However sometimes it has gotten a response from Ben, letting us all know he had not given up and checked himself into a local mental health facility after all the trouble with completing this project. I really do feel for Ben and Justin and if visiting Chicago would certainly stand them to beers at some local watering hole.

That wasn't aimed at you specifically, just the general malaise expressed by some.

Yeah, I here you, some comments have been somewhat more demanding than mine. Ben has said that they get emails directly (presumably on their Wanderlust site) that are quite irate. Coming from even non backers demanding to know when cameras will be available. Sheesh, the nerve of some folks.

    Re: Wanderlust 4x5 P&S

When we get irate emails from potential customers, I cheer myself in the knowledge that they must really want the camera. It's hard to know how big the market for this type of camera is, but we're about to find out.

In other news: When I promised to post instant photos from the Travelwide, I didn't realize how much fun I'd have taking portraits at work! I don't feel right posting photos of coworkers, so I took a quick bathroom selfie (cue collective groan). We're moving next week, so I already feel nostalgic looking at this photo!
