Johnathon, thanks. I always attribute this special character to the lens, the Xenar 210mm from around the end of the ww2. In my eyes, the lens provides most incredible results when focused to ~ 1m - 1.5m, but I love it for landscapes too...

Jonathan, your setup up looks different, both the background and table texture...mind posting/pm'ing a quick snapshot of this setup. I love the silky grey background.
Jiri, I can't stop starting at your "Intruder" image. Textures are so smooth and creamy - love the image.
