They got your money a long time ago, ha ha! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't mourn the missing $49. Yeah, I got one of the early bird slots.
As for what you get if you ordered the 65mm and the 90mm, I think you get two camera bodies, each one that can be changed to either 65 or 90, depending on your whim. You could put together two 90s, or two 65s, or a 65 and a 90! I'm lazy about changing a lens so I'll just leave one set up as a 65 and one set up as a 90.

Indeed, because we raised more than our goal, we were able to make the front removable/replaceable. That erased the hard line between 65 and 90 backers. So now ALL backers will get a survey asking for their preference:
• How would you like the camera pre-assembled: 90 or 65?
• If you chose 90, would you like a free 65 conversion kit (or vice versa)?
The reason why we're asking whether people want the conversion kit is purely ecological; I don't want to ship 65 plates to people who will throw them away.

I'd have to do a calculation on angle of view. You can get the spots to be very very tiny, but it's usually not necessary.
PS—I just got a Grandagon 90mm ƒ/6.8 in the mail yesterday. So far, it seems great on the Travelwide. The FFD is shorter than the Super Angulon, so you can focus much closer. On mine, it looks like I can easily reach 0.7m.
Now you tell me, after I went out and bought the Super Angulon! ;-) Do you know the distance the Super Angulon focuses to? .7m is what my Leica lenses focus down to. You're going to make me buy yet another 90mm lens.Originally Posted by Ben Syverson

The options are the same whether you backed one or two cameras; you can have each camera preassembled to whatever FL you like, and a conversion kit for each camera for the other focal length.
It will vary slightly, but most SAs should focus down to around 1m. But yeah, I wish I had tested a Grandagon earlier! They're a bit more expensive than the SA, but I think more of them are multicoated.

BTW I've got a 90/6.8 Grandagon, it's a great lens, but I think a bit heavier than the 90/8 lenses (SA, fujinon W, nikkor SW etc)
Good to know, thanks Dave. I probably shouldn't worry too much about the focusing distance, after all, it isn't going to be a problem to enlarge from a 4x5 negative!

Wow! You knocked my burkes off with that one! I googled it and got the scoop. What an awesome toy. I'd call it a tool but it looks to pretty to be a tool, and seeing the price I know you didn't buy it at Home Depot.
I too have a Pentax spot - like you said, it's a bit big and heavy for transporting about. Mostly I use a Sekonic L228 zoom meter (8.2 to 28 degrees). It's light, has a big dial like the Pentax, & and the viewing lens/values are easy to sight with. Of course, like most photogs I have several other meters that don't get much use but one I really like but rarely use is a Weston Ranger 9 (mint cond. w/ orig box) It has a 18 degree eye level viewer wit a semi clear target dot. Last in the line, probably the best handheld Weston meter ever made.

Glad you liked that meter, yeah, it's kind of rare. It was designed by two engineers who build night vision systems. It really is a little jewel, superbly machined, and I can wear it around my neck, but I'm terrified that the cord will break and I'll lose it.
That L228 looks cool, like a smaller version of the Pentax. I was using my big Pentax in Central Park one day and someone asked me if I took any good shots, ha ha! I think I said: "Not yet!".
Wow, I thought I had been following this closer. Imagine my surprise. Guess I will start on pondering the configurations of two camera's.
I think at this point I would opt for the two configured as 90mm, plus the two 65mm option pieces.
When I opted for the two camera support, I had an idea, which still will be part of my plan. I know a fellow with a CNC milling machine and makes all sorts of small pieces in the bicycle market place.
I originally, and still do plan to have a light, rather simple block made to fit into the slot for the film holder. The block will be milled to move the film holders back exactly the amount needed to use My Nikon 135 lens on the 90mm configuration, allowing me three lens length options setup beforehand on outings. Now with this new to me understanding, I could carry one at 65, and preset the second for 90mm, or insert the focal length lengthener block for 135mm. The lengthening block would have nubs on the side to use the elastic band method to mount to the back of the body.
