Hope it dosen't arrive too soon. I'm still trying to arrive at a SOP for consistant paper negatives. That, and build a front surface lighted enlarger.

On the other hand I just discovered that one of those flat, battery powered LED flashlights, duct taped to a brown glass 22oz beer bottle makes a dandy emergency safelight. Didn't fog the paper at all, at least not during the 5 minute time to cut, expose, and develop it.

Yeah, I knew I'd find a use for those empty beer bottles.

    What about a Forty?

This discovery should be re-posted again in the DIY section or one of the Darkroom forums too.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

I was being facetious. I guess next time I'll have to send you a PM before I post.
Maybe just be a little less subtle with your humor. There have been some very nasty complainers that Ben and Justin have had to deal with (not here, thankfully), so perhaps I was a bit touchy.

I remember being backer #2. And Im in a rush to get it. But not wanting them to rush in making them. Only excited to use it as soon as they deliver.

I backed it on April 5th so I'm probably in the last third of the pack. No matter, I'm hoping for September and if it arrives sooner, well that is pure gravy.

" I don't think they added anything that wasn't promised up front."

Well, if you read back 146 pages of this thread, the original idea of Ben's was to offer up a 4x5 P&S camera. And guys like myself were like "TAKE MY MONEY!!!".

No problem. Besides, I can't remember anyone ever calling me subtle.

I do understand the frustration with the grumps of the world. Our modern society seems to have bred a culture of immediate gratification and when something doesn't happen quick enough for them they become instant jerks.
