Ben says they will have a preorder site 'soon' but I guess it depends on how things go with Xcentric, the vendor running the parts.

Ben and Justin had quite a number unanticipated difficulties and are dipping into their own funds to solve them. The result will be a much better camera than first proposed, although a few months late.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

They posted an image on Valentines day of the first shipment of bodies. I understand that they also indicated that the helical problem has been corrected.

I think everyone needs to cool it a bit and let them get the cameras assembled. They'll update us when they're ready.

We certainly don't want them to get so frustrated they burn them, like my other Chicago peeps.

    Trust!

How is taking 15 minutes a week to post an update on the kickstarter page going to keep them from getting the cameras assembled?

It's been 40 days since they posted anything on the kickstarter page, you go that long without communicating with your backers when your supposedly this close to completion and your backers can't help but wonder if your actually doing anything.

I've backed another project that is much more over do then this one, the difference is they communicate with their backers.

Rather than complain publicly, maybe you'd be better served emailing them directly?

As I said, I feel that their time would be better served actually working on the project. Wasted therbligs equal less time devoted to getting the cameras into our hands.

    Obviously you feel different.

They're what, two months overdue with explanations of the changes? Not a big deal to me - six months without updates and I'd be worried.

I would like to get it in the next month or two but if I don't, I don't.

Exactly, and many will spend more this weekend on frivolity than they did for this KS.

Most of us have something else to shoot.
