    i know this is not as stunning a view as some of the images posted in the thread, but this valley was home to me for a few months. Garw valley, south wales UK former coal mining village now utterly dead due to the pits closing in the 1980's taken from the hills overlooking the village

    So beautiful! From afar it seems very well maintained and not at all an "old mining town".

    Also like the way the white has gone a bit purple in the shadows of the houses, this must look nice very big.

    A couple 4X5 s made with a Crown Graphic; one with the 135mm Optar and the other with a 90mm Angulon in Needles, Canyonlands.
