    Ed,

As I commented on the other picture, I really love the smokey swirl effects, was this accomplished well developing by spinning it? Or just a happy accident?

Thanks Stone. I am using KCN for fixer. It reduces as well as develops. If I leave it on (after "straight" development), it will reduce the background to the extent that the natural waviness of the developer pour is revealed, which is what you are seeing. You also see it reducing to the extent that it is actually eroding the image entirely, at the top of the shot. So you need to be a bit careful with it.

Ahh! Makes sense. Thanks for the info, hoping someday I can get some plate work done.

Meg's so great! This actually reminds me of one of my shots, however it was shot on 120 so I can't post it lol

Someday perhaps I'll finally be able to work with her, she's the closest model that I know, but some circumstances have interfered with any collaboration

Amazing how still she can be, pro's are always the best models.

    Great images!

Thanks Randy. She's actually leaned against the wall for stabilization. I've tried "free-standing" shots, and I don't think I've ever got a sharp one over 2 seconds. I use a free standing head brace for most of my standing images, or the wall. The brace helps, but it isn't foolproof.
