Just bought a Wollensak Velostigmat Series II 12 inch soft focus lens for £200 (320 dollars), came on a nice Korona 4x5. Lens is immaculate and studio shutter
works well, low serial number too, No. 139264. Anyone know what year that is? Roughly?
Scruffy Dallmeyer 3A in unknown condition - mechanical and optical. These are slightly larger (diameter and focal length) and slower than the 3B. 181150810690 at £980.
The Meyer Trioplan with soft adjustment - which may or may not have been sold!
Dear cameraeccentric does, in fact, include it. See below - the last line. "Prices are then raised by ...."
The Hugo Meyer 16.5" F/3.8 Trioplan "The Walkure" was sold for $3,500. Came in orignal lens box and lens cap, I don't believe this lens was ever mounted
The 1936 price in the NY catalog was $335 and the soft focus adjustment addtion raised the price in those days by $29.5. In 2013 dollars this represents something in the $6k neighborhood using online availalbe inflation calculators.

I am guessing that "The Walkure" is a very strange americanisation of Valkyrie.
So background Wagner operas are recommended for putting the photographer in the right pictorial mood?
Hahaha ... Good catch Steven ... It's more an issue of me speaking many similar languages and getting the wires crossed ... De Walkure in Dutch, Die Walküre in German and of course the Valkyrie in English ...
The whole "Der Ring des Nibelungen" would provide some good material for a pictorial project ...
The codeword for the 14" Portrait Trioplan was "Wagner" ...
Chrome plated Dallmeyer 4D $250, 121125556336
When I hit the "Buy it now" button, someone grabbed it just some seconds ahead.
