Shot my first TMY negative, and developed it in Pyrocat HD. I see why this is a standard combo! I'd rather shoot TMX though, but if I need the speed, I know what I'll be using. Took this at St. Marks NWR.
Nikkor 90mm f/8, TMY @250, Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 for 9 minutes in a BTZS tube at 75F:

Based on a comment on my Hwy 17 West Texas image posted earlier, I decided to rescan the neg and work a little harder to try and pull more life out of the image. There were actually two issues with this shot, the underexposure/underdevelopment was one and the second was that I should have used TMY-2 here, not Arista which has a terribly narrow latitude. Arista seems to work much better for me in the studio than in the field, unless the lighting is really flat.

Anyway, changing some of the scan settings on my 4990 and working with narrower and more numerous tone curves allowed me to get a little more from the negative. This still won't make it to my website, but it does look a little better than the first post.

Real nice, Nathan. I think this would make a spectacular B&W conversion, should that be your cup of tea.

Lovely shot, Nathan. I'm gonna disagree with Harley though because the blue/yellow complementary thing is (IMHO) important to this photo, and a B&W conversion would make the foreground distracting.
