    Here is my main squeeze, shot with a Dallmeyer 3B in available light on 4x5, f11 and one second (black hat shutter). The blur evident in the earring is probably movement rather than softness from the lens.

    Here is another, shot in a hurry a few days ago. Shot at f4.5. Mother and daughter were seated on a bench at a 45 degree angle to the camera, so I used swing to try to get the depth of field needed; first time for a portrait. But was quite rushed by impatient sitters, and it was quite dark for focusing on the dim ground glass of my 5x7, so it is not quite right, but close enough I am encouraged to try it again. I used a 400ws strobe to light it, improperly placed so my daughter is overlit (live and learn), but I think I can burn it in in printing once I finish my homemade 5x7 enlarger.
