Critiques always welcome...
If someone is already in for, say, the super early bird special, and then you add a 90/65 reward, how would that work? Hypothetically speaking, of course![]()
I'm in at $49. Looks like a blast to shoot. Good work guys! Oh yeah, I'm working on spreading the word.
Any chance of putting some kind of strap lugs on the thing so I can throw it over my shoulder?
Larry
Yeah, we knew you guys wanted a 65! I'll have to look at the dimensions and FFD for the 58mm... It's always possible to do a simple recessed "lensboard" for the front of the body, but at 58mm it might have to be a new body. That way it could be more compact anyway.
Thinking "out loud," I think we would probably do a new body that we could use to make both a 47 and 58 version, similar to how we've done with the 90 / 65 body. But we'd certainly need this one to be successful before we could consider that.
I want both. Tell me about the 65. What mechanism to you have for setting the fixed focus? Someone will want to adjust the lens position for different assumptions of hyperfocal distance, or for different apertures, etc.
Is it set up for infinity focus? That would allow focus adjustment using shims.

Thanks, Larry! There are two boreholes through the camera's grips, which can be used for a strap. You would just pass the strap down one side, across the bottom, and up the other side. It works great!
I'm hesitant to add too many more reward levels (we already have a lot), so if I added one, it would probably be close to full price (ie $189 for both cameras).Originally Posted by Steve Goldstein
Yay, I am a super early bird too... Number 13, I think! :-)
