Hi guys! Which super angulomn is it i bet there are a few variations? My fujinon 90 is with my 617 already a new lens or this would be awesome. Goodluck!

The camera is designed for the Schneider Angulon 90mm ƒ/6.8 lens (not the Super Angulon). However, the Super Angulon 90mm ƒ/8 and similar should work fine. You'll just need to adjust the focus marker using the instructions we'll include in the box.

The ƒ/5.6 variant is just too huge... It's for the best, because it would make the camera dangerously front-heavy. The 90 XL alone weighs more than our camera with an Angulon 6.8, film holder, viewfinder and rangefinder attached.

I am still waiting - patiently- with 90/6.8 Angulon in hand. I can well imagine this is quite a project. It is encouraging that it is still moving forward.

We know for sure that the ƒ/8 types fit... I haven't checked the big ƒ/6.8 lenses yet, but I believe they should fit. Really, only one lens fits "perfectly", and that's the Angulon (not Super) ƒ6.8. The Super Angulons and similar have a longer FFD by design (to make them easier to use on view cameras). For us means you have to start with the helical partially extended, which means you lose close focus. (With the original Angulon, you can focus down to about 2-3 feet.)
