Ok, that Pynchon novel is up next, after I defeat Mason & Dixon. I'm 70% through. Ben, have you read Mason & Dixon?

I know an English teacher who abandoned Against the Day, so I know I have my work cut out for me. Please, no spoilers.

For easier reads, Inherent Vice is hilarious and relatively understandable, even if it never really makes sense. The film is terrific. The screenplay and novel are so close that it does not matter which you experience first. Bleeding Edge was a pretty good novel about the deep internet.
