Hi, I don't know whether this is the right place to ask, but what processes other than daguerreotype and collodion can yield a positive image on a see-through surface (glass plate in this case)?

I am looking to probably experiment with printmaking techniques that require a positive image, and am reluctant in converting my images in digital to positives and printing them on acetates.

Also is it possible to successfully re-photograph a 5x4 negative onto a new piece of film to get a positive? Have any of you done this before?

Sorry if it is the wrong place to ask, I just didn't know where to start from.

Rado.
