    Sorry for the unrelated subject. I carried out a search on STANDARD lens / board combos that don't need to be removed but could not find much info.

    You need the 001015 recessed "Comfort" board to close the camera with this lens mounted.

    Thank you Bob. B-H has an older 001016 board, can it serve the same purpose (copal 0 lens) ? What are the differences wrt 001015 ?

    The 001015 Comfort is for your lens in Copal shutter. It has the aperture selector and the aperture scale on the face of the board as well as the press focus lever and the indicator for the press focus. There is no reason to reach into the recess to adjust the controls. In addition it has the improved cable release quick socket system that no longer uses wires and the recess depth overall is different.

    The 001016 has the old bent wire release system, does not move the controls or the scale to the front of the board and is a different depth.

    Waht date of production?

    No letter in the front. Actually the number is 31.4368

    Where did you find the serial number? On the accessory shoe or somewhere else?
