Hi,
i have a Technika 4x5, serial: 2151266
Do you know what model and year?
Probably a Technika V?
Thank you!
Hi! Got two Linhof's. One color s/n 5821 and a Technika III probably type 1, s/n 23355. Year of production?
[QUOTE=Bob Salomon;1344224]I can find no record of a Linhof having a serial number of 23355, where did you find the number and what size and kind of camera is it?[/QUOTE
Both are 4x5. It's one Linhof color and one Technika III

Sorry, I can't find any Technicha III with that number, or any number remotely close to it. Are you sure it isn't the Medcin? If it is a III DRP should be engraved on the camera. If it is a Medcin then RDP will be on the camera.[/QUOT
How about the Linhof color serial# 5821?
The letters on the top: DRP DRGM. The camera looks exactly like another one in this thread with knobs on the upper side with an angular RF and serial# close to each other (227xx something and mine 23355). What more is the lens (a 4.5/150 Xenar) is from 1948/49 due to it's serial#. The Cam has the lens# on it's upper side but lack the cameras serial# on the lower side. So I can't say that this and the lens were sold with the camera when new. According to the shutter wich is a dial compur, the serial# says construction 1928!!
I Googled around for DRP DRGM. It was used until 1949 and in some cases as late as 1952.
Bob, does DRP mean for shure that my camera is a Technika III?
I don't know what a "Medizin" looks like...
My last question is: The serial# present at cameraquest on Linhof III type 1, 22xxx-23xxx, where do they got them from?
