Linhof Serial Numbers

Hey, does anyone know the different in serial number between the Master Technika Classic and Master Technika 3000? I download from Linhof the spec for both of them, and in the cart of "recommended lens" for the classic, I don't see 65mm, for the 3000 yes. Does that mean that I can't use 65mm lens with a Master Classic? Or does it only means that I can't use 65mm with RF but it's still okay to use with te ground glass? Many many thanks!

The 2000 and 3000 both use lenses down to the 35mm Apo Grandagon and that includes the 65mm.
The Super Technika IV, V and Master Technika Classic use lenses down to 72mm and if you want to use shorter lenses, including the 65mm they must be mounted on special helical focusing lens boards. There is a board for the 35, 45 and 55 and 65 from Rodenstock and the 38, 47, 58 and 65mm from Schneider.

The lenses shorter then 72mm on the Classic, V and IV are ground glass focusing only.

Here I have a linhof camera
Serial number is 13575
I measured the ground glass and it is exactly 17cmx12cm.
clearly it is not fit able to modern 5x7 film holders.

Could you please tell me what is this type of linhof camera and what holders I can use with it. Thank you!!

Can you kindly provide me the details of the following Linhof Serial Number: 2151843 in terms of

- Date of Make (Month and Year)
- Camera Name and version (E.g. Technika III/IV/V (with version) /Master Technika 2000/3000 etc.)
- Any other details (Original color) etc.

Is there a code/convention to decode/decipher any Linhof Serial Number? My emails to service@linhof.de seem to bounce back. Also not sure if Bob Salomon from HP Marekting is still around in this group to answer this (he has answered this for many folks in this forum)
