Serial is 62660. Is it a 56 or 57?

The 4x5 IV was shown at photokina in black but was changed to tan for production. I have a 1957 Kling catalog that gives special finishes available to be ordered in Black,Red,Green,& Ivory which I have seen on the III but never on a IV, would you be willing to share a photo?

The 6x9 IV was initially made in black and changed to tan early on in production. The 5x7 IV was also made in black first then quickly changed to tan.

I've got a 4x5 Technika IV in black, so it must have been in production. The leather is black, and the interior bed enamel is black.

Mine doesn't have an enamel finish. The interior is powder coated in matte black and the 3 ribs details on the front standard is painted black and not red like yours. The viewfinder has the same fine grain matte black powder coating.

It is in very good condition. I just had to reglue some of the leatherettes and re-lube everything. The back dark slide holder is missing tho.
The original ground glass is very dark, hopefully i'll receive a new one from Linhof Studio very soon.
