It was shot with a 5x7 camera, and the total negative image area is also 5x7 (or thereabouts.) I'd say it's large format.

Funny thing is.. its actually fairly easy to shoot newborns with LF.. they just lay there most of time.. so once you focused - you good.. Only true challenge is to get 2.8 focus rightdof is seriously thin.. I wanted to use 240 heliar originally , but there was not much light to get with 4.5 @ iso100 (even sleeping, didnt feel comfy to do 1/4s)
