Notch code identification : help / assistance

I have a sheet of 5/7 BW in some holders I purchased. I have gone thru as many notch code DB's as I can find and nothing matches.

Any confirmations or identification is appreciated

Bumping this up since it a good thread title, I still think we need a sticky for this subject with photos of the notch code...

New old film holders arrived with film inside, based on some really crappy ASCII text drawing, it may be
    Ilford Ortho or Ansco Commercial

Can anyone confirm, and what was the Ansco Commercial ASA ?

If you have any fubar sheets, what's the color of the base ?
The one sheet I took out is terracotta in color.

I believe this film is Ilford FP4 (not the newer FP4 Plus film). I just finished a box of it and wish I had more..... I don't know when it expired but it sold for $12.58 for 50 sheets of 4x5.

Sorry Jim, I used this film once and NEVER again! (Unless I'm looking for an old world feel) too poor of reciprocity characteristics for me.

Just process a sheet of it in B&W developer, you will learn if it's E-6, C-41, or B&W and then it may have rebate markings, if it doesn't it's PROBABlY the FOMA100 stuff, it's not EFKE IR as theirs was a wider curve I can tell you that much.

I don't have original HP5 or FP4 but I do have Arista400 which is from the time when it was HP5+ rebranded and that is also similar but the notch is father in...

Sorry I can't be more help. Just shoot it at 100 and develop one sheet in Hc-110 (B) at 5 minutes and see what you see
