    Questions :

    - Has anyone mounted this lens in a shutter? and let me know type of shutter.

    Thanks!

They were made to mount in an obsolete Compur #1 Dial Set shutter that has same 35.5mm openings on both sides. Later #1 shutters have 2 different size threads. Large in front smaller in back. The smaller thread in back is correct. It will take some luck to find one. Or you could go with a semi modern dial set compur and use the stock rear thread and have a bushing made to adapt the larger front size.

I can photograph mine for you if you like. Fine little lens set.

I think this lens has one.

    This one too.

    And one more.

I have a set of these eidoscope cells mounted in an ibsor shutter (the precurser to the prontor press). My ibsor has a shutter speed that goes up to 1/100 - some ibsors go up to 1/125 - these 1/125 shutters might be a different size (so to be safe stick with the 1/100 model).

Here are some photos of the shutter...I am pretty sure it is original due to the factory engraved aperture scale on the shutter.

Another happy owner of Eidoscope 150mm lens set... but mine is f/4.5 and fits directly to modern #1 shutter (Copal, Compur-Synchro) without need of making adapter for front fit. So back lens has 35,5mm and front lens - just a bit larger - has 40,5mm thread. Does it mean it was from last Hermagis production before it was taken over Berthiot?

Interesting ... I have a 150mm f4.5 set where both cells measure 40.5mm ... so based on this thread we have two f numbers and 3 configurations possible ?

    I've not found a shutter yet where mine fit in ... definitely not in a Compur that holds a 135mm f4.5 lens ... maybe a Compur holding a 150mm f4.5 lens ?

Dial set Compur for 150/4.5 lens should be right for your set I think.
