    I'd say a picture of someone voting and a picture of somone's ballot are two totally different things.

    You could see his face and that he was filling the ballot out. You could not see what he actually did fill out. The ballot itself did not show.

    It is legal because during an election it is considered a public place (even if it is in a church basement). The key is not to get in the way. It's a busy place...don't slow the line down or go into places that are reserved for elections staff.

    Brian,
    As for polling places being busy I doubt that will happen over here later this month. Many of us can vote for a Police Commisioner (or something like that) and a turnout of below 15% is expected. That includes the postal vote.
