Been working with this setup on the Still Life thread, but I tried something a little different. This one was with the 50mm Zero Image pinhole camera, using the zone plate aperture at f/45 instead of the pinhole at f/176. The negative is underexposed and is very thin, but I managed to pull most of it out on the scanner. 4x5 TMY-2.

These are a few I took with a homemade 5x4 pinhole camera for World Pinhole Photography Day 2012.

The place is an Irish beach called Tower Bay, Portrane, Co Dublin.

All exposures were 4.5 minutes long at f150 on Fomapan 100 rated at 50 iso
Processed in Rodinal 1:100 for 30 minutes semi-stand development

    Hello everyone.

This is George Sheils (and rest also).

I finished yesterday building my second 4x5 pinhole camera. I use a already drilled plate with 0,32 made in France and used 75mm as distance length.
    http://www.stenocamera.fr/

The relation pinhole size and focal length was given by the guy that builds the plates.

What I would like to know is how do you know that you have the sharpest image and how do you tune your pinhole camera to have a really sharp image as shown.

Thank you! (Almost forgot. Great images!)
