    Fixing Stained Negatives

I am out of Ilford Hypam and the only place that I know stocks it, appears not to anymore, some time ago I put in an order that mysteriously never did eventuate. At the moment I am mixing my fixer out of hypo and sodium sulfite, the problem is it kills the stain of my Pyrocat developed negatives. I wonder if anyone can suggest a fixer recipie using the hypo I already have, that will preserve the stain, if it is possible at all. I am thinking in terms of efke IR film that is available on ebay.

Check out the T-3 recipe on Ken Lee's site, or from the Darkroom Cookbook. Works great with pyro.
