Kowa/Computar question

The 240/270/300/360 Kowa/Computar, at least those with lettering "inside", screw directly into a Copal 3S. Does anyone know if these lenses have the same size outside diameter barrel? I have sort of a hairbrained scheme I'm thinking about....

Lettering on the inside is no guarantee of a direct fit into a Copal 3S. I have a 270 mm Graphic-Kowa that disproves this hypothesis. It has lettering on the rim about the front element, but front cell threads that don't fit any size Copal shutter and no easy way remove the rear glass from the barrel.
