    Photo Chem ???

I've found my fixer bottle is full of dark specks or flakes. Is this somekind of intruding bio-stuff or a build up of silver? Does anyone know? And if it is biological, what can I kill it with without ruining the bottle for the fixer? Thanks

    Photo Chem ???

My advice is: throw the bottle away. I found out some time ago that such black sediments in a fixer bottle caused pinholes in film.

Anything that can live in a bottle of fixer needs taking to your local germ warfare research lab ASAP. Your grateful country will thank you. :-)
