    polaroid backs

I have a busch pressman 6 x 7 field camera, I have modified the back to accept a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" "22"Graphic 120 roll film back. The thing I dont understand is that the actual film window is 2 1/4" x 3 1/4", and the holder is 4" x 6". However this is not the problem. I want a polaroid back for pack film, for obvious reseasons. I have considered modifing an old Polaroid pack film land cameraa into a holder. I heard about the 405 holder and tried to find pictures with no luck. My questions are: Does the 405 holder have the same dimensions as a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" back? Is the 621001 the same as a 405? My optimal holder would be 1/4" thick, 4" high by 5 or 6 inche long.

    Can anyone help? Matt

    Matt,

The Polaroid 405 back is designed to fit a 4x5 Graphlock back system. I am not sure how you could cut it down to fit you Busch. Try the Polaroid site for more information.

    Good luck, Jan
