Thanks for the kind words. I was kinda amazed myself when I threw this one on the light table. It's one of the only three of my pics I've put up on my own wall.
The blue color on the sand was due to the deep blue pre-sunset sky over my head and behind me to the east reflecting off the white sand. It was a lucky shot!

All the dunes images posted are stunning, but the color ones really stand out from BW. Even monochrome fan that I am, it is nice to see the colors. Gorgeous.
