10/28 will be the actual shipping date (fingers crossed)—that's the earliest we could schedule a pickup. Once you have a few hundred pounds of cameras, they don't want you just dropping them at the PO.

I'm excited! 2/3 of our Kickstarter rewards are taken care of, and then the preorders will ship. We're almost exactly 50% through our total obligations (KS + Preorder). I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it might not even be a train!

Calibrated my lens (fujinon f/8) this morning. I find the helical to be quite stiff. It wasn't so when I first took it out of the box a few days ago. Nice and smooth. Must be due to the humidity here on the wet coast. Calibration was a piece of cake and the distance markings are accurate. I just wish they were easier to see! I'm thinking of painting them white.
