Just to clarify, although the f3.5 will give a lovely signature, there is no "softness" control on this like it's bigger brothers had.
Anyone here that got it ?
Went for 155punds in the end, I didnt get it with my lowball offer at 60 ;P
I looked at it early on but was quite convinced that an 8.5" would not have the soft adjustment. But still good value.
You all are probably correct it didnt have a SF adjustment...what through me was the notch and red dot..I thought that perhaps this strange bird did have a dial - but when I checked my references, these sunken mounts did not have the SF adjustment....

I think this design was basically for Press Photographers with their SLR cameras who could use the extra stop.
