I'd imagine that putting the camera on a long thin stick would produce even more interesting and useful pictures as it could capture people in their natural positions and activities (not looking up to catch the thing), had more exposure latitude (not moving) and all you would see "straight down there" would be a simple thin stick, instead of obligatory hands sticking up. A useful added option to the thrown ball?
Cats eye view ... the mouse gettin chomped on ... oh yeah the possibilities.

A camera (ball) like this might make soccer interesting.
I think a Cat-Cam has more possibility.
