I see this every day. The bowl sits on the table in the kitchen and holds the table decoration (imitation) roses from my son's wedding some years back. Now we have two beautiful granddaughters aged 3 and 1 and this is just a great reminder every day of how lucky we are that they are happy and healthy (and that we're still here to appreciate them!).
I took a polaroid on the Shen Hao TZ45-IIA then I thought the polaroid should be in the shot too.
Surely photography is as much about memories and reminders as anything else? I like to think so.
I cropped the 4x5 image in Photoshop. It's Fomapan 200, developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 9 mins (in my new Stearman Press SP455 tank) and the exposure was 4 seconds at f22. Taken with a Schneider Symmar-S 210.
I seem to get a lot of dust and stuff on negatives so I'm going to work on eliminating that but I'm really a complete novice with LF film and developing in general so just getting an answer is a joy at the moment.
Character, like a photograph, develops in darkness. - Yousuf Karsh.
