An attempt to capture the dappled evening light that streams into the dining room this time of year. I'm fed up with my scanner, though. You can see conspicuous banding in the shadow area to the right of center at the bottom. Grrrr.

I just popped into the Art Institute of Chicago to see for a second time "Abelardo Morell:The Universe Next Door" http://www.artic.edu/exhibition/abel...erse-next-door
Morell seemed to do just fine with inspiration around the house. If you have the chance to see the exhibit, I think most everyone who in interested in large format will enjoy it. If you don't, online offers plenty of examples of Morell's work, and I bought the catalogue (available from Amazon et al.) It is a winner.
