My favorite city, after ancient Isfahan, both for the sights and for their history.

For comparison...
Nice shot, great tonality.
A great city to photograph, very nice atmosphere.
How long were you there/
Is it a scan from negative or print ?
I was there a couple of weeks ago, the negatives from the first batch are drying at the moment.

Hi Mike - this was my second ever scan of a negative & don't know how it looks on your monitor since I can't calibrate my own monitor. I can't figure out how to use the scanner yet all that well and hate hate hate it. Loved the place - so photogenic & am a big fan of the history of the Venetian empire. Would want to go back in the winter or fall though - especially when it floods.
Cyrus,
It looks great on my monitor.
Just finished my development of my Venice photo's.
Shot 9 photo's in Venice, the neg's are great, have to scan them.
The only problem in Venice is the amount of bridges you have to climb up and down when you are lugging around an 8x10
Mike
I had a decent map of Venice, only got lost one time.
Had to take the ferry to Punta Sabbioni, get into my car, and drive to the campsite where we were staying.
I only was a short time in Venice, arrived at 14:00 and I left at 23:00
