    Tom, yeah from what i understand there were but no where near the modern day traffic..
    When I was there the road seemed like a fking race track with ppl traveling at rediculous speeds
    You gotta watch those nut cases out there!

    I thought that's what the bears were there for: producing massive traffic jams and slowing people down. Violators would be eaten.

    I didn't know this fact about that photo. It seems like it would make a thin negative at that exposure.

    Was the purpose of the filter at that time of day to improve contrast?

    AA did run at least part of the "moonrise" negative through an intensifier bath because of the thinnness of the image.
