    Dallmeyer 3b on 8x10?

Does the dallmeyer 3b cover 8x10? It seem like an interesting portrait lens. If it doesn't is there any similar that will?

Try a 3A. 3b's do cover whole plates, but often with vignetted edges at infinity and the perspective isn't so nice... not to mention a dof at f/3 of about nothing - makes focusing nearly impossible! The 3A was made for whole plates but the estimates were pretty conservative, so it should be perfect on 8x10 with an FL of 16". They are incredibly well made lenses are certainly worth looking into.
