    Jobo 3010 Expert Drum Tank

    it takes 10 sheets in 5 holes "does that mean 2 sheets in each hole? +which side should the film notch inserted " .many thanks

    you will see ribs running down the side of each hole to keep the 2 pieced of film seperated from each other and in place during developing- the film is inserted emulsion side out (notch in the upper right when handling prior to insertion) into the tube with the 4" side of the film entering the tube first.

    sorry, meant emulsion side facing the interior of the hole-= reading my own response and looks like it could cause confusion.

    Aka. emulsion should NOTbe against the wall.

    Emulsion facing the center of the hole.
    Nothing beats a great piece of glass!

    developer splashing the emulsion = good

    emulsion pressed tight and dry against drum wall = bad

    One more tip I came accros too late..found out the hard way..

    When filling the holes leave a few cm of the film sticking out at the top, so you won't load the 2 sheets on top of each other..the sandwiched one won't develop, trust me..(as luck would have it is was a less important negative)..

    When finished loading push them down off course
