ilford vc head on beseler enlarger

Has anyone had experience placing an Ilford 400HL head on a Beseler MXT enlarger? Can this be made to work successfully? If so, how?

Yes. I have the 45 MXT with Ilford 400HL - this was given to me by a friend and the 400HL was already installed. The condensor head was also supplied and it is quick to change over, from memory. According to the Ilford manual you will need an adapter plate to fit the head on the Beseler chassis.
