Cross-posting this. The original bathroom at the first campground in Zion National Park. It is the first and/or second Zion National Park building to be built (1923). I spent a month living it its sister building, the ranger station (which became the Park museum...now housing for visiting artists, researchers, and so on.) The walls are blocks of local sandstone 18" to 24" thick -- note the thicker blocks used in the corners. Angel's Landing in the background.
11x14 negative photographed on a light table, then inverted in PhotoShop. Eventually a platinum print perhaps.

Redo of the Broke Ass Barn in Palouse. The original was too "gray" over the entire image. I still need to do this one again from the conversion of negative to finished product, but this is more to my liking, with more black to white gradations and contrast. Comments welcome on comparison of this to earlier version posted earlier.
